The S5-BCN Blecon Sensor is an IP67 temperature and humidity waterproof sensor that works with the Blecon network.
The waterproof sensor has a compact case, water resistant design & easy to replace battery, reliable hardware, and comes pre-loaded with Blecon firmware. It has been designed for cold chain, logistics, asset monitoring, outdoor tracking, and services focused on both outdoor or indoor.

The S5-BCN Waterproof Sensor is compatible with the Blecon Network, enabling easy integration and deployment.
Blecon devices can communicate with their network using any nearby Hotspots. Dedicated hardware Hotspots are available, and exiting phone and laptop devices can be enabled as Hotspots with a Blecon App. This enables customers to self-deploy devices at low cost and complexity.
The S5-BCN device records timestamped measurements events, and uploads them whenever a network is available.
Temperature readings are taken at regular intervals, and high/low temperature threshold and motion events are also recorded.
